This is so cool!
Take a look at this screenshot, showing the backup job in an
application-centric way. Here I am backing up my IE,
Outlook Express, ClipMate, and Darn data.
On Brenda's PC, it also knows about her Palm and Quicken
data.
It also knows to backup the "regular" things like your
desktop and "my documents" folders. You can also
easily create backup groups for other directories and files.
Zippity Do Da!
One of my criteria for backup programs is that the data
needs to be accessible, regardless of whether you have the
original backup program installed. If you have a
computer meltdown, you want to get back up and running as
quickly as possible, without trying to hunt down a
particular version of a particular backup program from a
particular vendor. Although Eazy Backup uses its own
(.ezz) file extension, the files are actually ZIP files, and
can be read with any Zip program, such as WinZip. You
can even rename to .ZIP extension and trick Windows XP
Explorer into opening it as a folder.
