Hibernate causes trouble with shared databases

Several users have reported problems with shared network databases and hibernating.  At this time, we do not recommend that you allow any PC hosting a shared database to hibernate. The other PCs need to lock database records, and the operation times out due to the hibernation - even if the hosting machine (the server) has been recently "awakened" from hibernation.

The ClipMate log may display an error such as
Exception,DBISAM Engine Error # 10249 General lock failure with the table 'CLIP' (0)

Solution: PCs acting as database servers should never be allowed to hibernate.
