Here's a tip from user Kevin Black, regarding a registry switch that prevents windows from triggering the LP5 error:
I attempted uninstall/re-install but that did not help. I got to thinking that yesterday I came across this article about activating a Windows security feature which required an addition to the registry. I removed that entry and now ClipMate works again.
