Summary |
0000100: Bitmap Scaling during Printing |
|
Description |
When you print a small bitmap, it's too hard to read on the paper. This is due to the screen resolution being much coarser than the printer resolution.
Solution is to implement a user-configurable scale factor. |
|
Additional Information |
I am introducing a Bitmap Scaling option, under File | Print Options | Advanced, to allow the user to select a scaling option. The default uses a ratio of the printer:screen resolution (ex: 4000 dpi vs. 72 dpi = 6) to give a good sizing for small bitmaps to to print "about as they seem on the screen".
