Screen captures don't work for me after I have invoked Firefox 3 or 4.

Works fine until then, works ok if I have Flock 2 working, but when I start firefox I just get a white box when I do a page or region capture. Doesn't work right again until I do a system reboot.

Any way to fix this?

using vista 64 and CM 7.3. Also happened using CM 6.5

Thanks.

John

Just did a little test.

I have three programs that can do screen captures.

Just re-booted and all three of them work fine until I start Firefox 3 or 4.

After invoking firefox none of the screen captures work. Two of them capture black screens and CM captures white screen. Printscreen works in CM after invoking Firefox.

Another test.

Invoking IE 7 does the same thing as starting firefox.

I just installed IE 9 and after I run it I can still screen capture with my screen capture programs. Wierd.

Uh, wait a minute.

OK. Before installing IE 9 I installed vista 64 service pack 2, and the problem seems to have disappeared. (I always ran with vista 64 service pack 1 until today).

I can now run Firefox and still screen capture after doing so.

Hope this helps someone who had these problems.

Adios!

I have no idea what's going on, but it seems to be NOT a ClipMate issue (exclusively, anyway).
