Save area rectangle for screendumps.
Able to click and drag an area rectangle for screencapturing AND save that rectangle area coordinates so when pressing an custom key combination a screendump is made in the previously created area rectangle.
(it is very similair like "Screen capture area" but now the area coordinates are saved so you don't have to click and drag the rectangle over and over when doing multiple screen-area-captures in the same area)

Drag & drop:
Be able to drag & drop (move) categories / subcategories to a new existing categorie/sub-categorie.

Save regex:
Be able to save a regex in the "automatic cleanup" so I can re-use it.
and make it accessible like the templates => dropdown button with all the saved regex cleanups.

Custom paste:
Beneath the clipmate window there is an dropdown where the user can select "Paste Ctrl+V" , "Current date_time" , etc...
Make it possible for the user to add his/her own paste actions
for exampe "Shift Ins" exists in the list but I would really like to add the "Enter" so I have the "Shift Ins + Enter" option available to me (this is a must have when working in putty terminal windows.

Auto Paste multiple clips
Be able to select multiple clips and then run an auto paste, which pastes all the clips (with the option to set a pause between each clip in mili-seconds / seconds).

edit:
Windows key detection in macro's
Currently [SHIFT] , [CTRL] and [ALT] are detected/used in macros I would really would like to have the windows key added to it. (if possible)

Custom pause times in macro's'
Now there is a fixed time of 0,5 seconds, could it be made possible to have something like this #pause2500# which means: pause for 2,5 seconds

edit2:
filter out files (copying content from certain files)
Can it be made possible to set an filter for certain files?
For example: a text file with contains information I do not want in clipmate. The only thing needed would be a filter setting which would contain the name and path to the file from which data should not be imported in clipmate when copying. An extra welcome option would be to erase the windows clipboard memory by inserting random characters after an set amount of seconds.

Thanks for this great program!!!!!!!!! ...clipmate saved me a lot of work an headache many times.

Looking forward to the next version!!!

Agree with the previous list. They all sound good to me.

I would also add a visual clipboard. There is a Windows 7 widget/gadget which does this but I'd like it integrated into Clipmate. You literally see the last 5 clips at all times!

Check out: Jan Zeman's clipboard manager. Maybe work out a deal with him? http://www.janzeman.com

some additions:

tree list (left side) expand delay
When moving clips it is really annoying that every category hovered immediately expands, a 1 second delay should be enough so the user has time to scroll down without the categories expend immediately.

checkboxes on the left side of every category and sub-category.
When the checkboxes are checked the category is ready to accept clips.
Handy when you quickly want to add clips you make without right clicking and setting the "accept clips" option

Drag and Drop outside clipmate => auto convert/export

When selecting a clip and dragging it into a folder it automatically export/converts it to text.txt file or image (if an image was selected).
It could automatically use the settings from the right click => "export clips (Save to individual files)-settings"

Love the checkbox option and Drag and drop in the collection Tree would be a Lifesaver.
