I have a similar problem with a web site whose data I copy into ClipMate and then paste into a Microsoft Excel worksheet. Excel doesn't like the commas and the dollar signs in the data from the web site so once I copy it into ClipMate, I need to clean it up so Excel will accept it. To do this, I use a ClipMate function called
Edit/Clean-Up Text ... (Alt-E then L then Return to OK) This ClipMate function allows you to strip (leading/trailing/anywhere) characters from each line (e.g., I strip the leading spaces, tabs, and $ sign from each line and the comma sign from anywhere from my Excel example). It also allows you to remove line breaks with each paragraph, change the case within the clip, and perform a single find/replace operation within the clip.
