For anyone experiencing the 'Power Paste runs wild" problem (clipmate just cycling through all the clips before you can paste them), on my computer this was caused by the utility Passwords Max. If I shut it down, the problem disappears.

Fortunately, that's not a program I need to have open regularly.

I'm using Clipmate 7.

Like you, I've found out the hard way that Password Max and ClipMate don't make very good friends. I'd been looking for a password manager and thought I'd give Password Max a whirl, not having come across it before. ClipMate's Clipbar promptly disappeared and I still haven't managed to get it back after uninstalling Password Max and trying the various re-connect tricks for the Clipbar. Moreover, ClipMate refuses now to start with Windows startup no matter what I do - it has to be started manually every time.

I'm not knocking Password Max, which seems to be a comprehensive and useful program, but ClipMate clearly doesn't like it.

Windows XP, SP3
