Whenever I ahve a image on my clipboard ( clipmate ) and open Photoshop CS5 it duplicates the image 2 more times while Photoshop is opening.
For example,

If I have just copied a image and it is in clipmate and I open Photoshop CS5 I hear 2 more pops while Photoshop is opening and once it is open I have 3 of the same image I copied prior to opening Photoshop, so somehow by opening Photoshop it is duplicating the image 2 more times????

How to stop them?

Check your App Profile

i dont have photoshop so i cant be sure but im sure you just have more than 1 format selected causing it to grab duplicates

process of elimination should cure your issue
