Hi All,
I'm strongly leaning toward "ini file" translations using Balmsoft Polyglot. I'm currently testing with ClipMate 6.5, and the results look very encouraging.
INI files are just text files, and can be edited with any text editor such as Notepad, or the free INI Translator tool available at http://initranslator.sourceforge.net/.

More information, including the possibility of a ClipMate 6.5 Beta for translators, and affiliate program tie-ins with the translation packs, will appear here.

do you plan to add aditional languages by default?

I don't know - I haven't really thought about that. It might be a good idea though. Each language file looks to be about 150K, so I wouldn't include ALL of them, but maybe some very popular ones. Or I could implement some sort of automatic check for language packs.

Is there a beta of the new version, so I couldt test the interface? I'm interested to get ClipMate in german.

Not yet, but I hope to have it available in a few days. News will appear here.
