It should not have deleted the registration, no. Are you certain that you entered it in the first place though? It'll go for several days without nagging, early in the evaluation period.

The 'X' problem is something else that I'm working on.
But the registration problem seems odd. There could be something going on with the date change (midnight). When you enter it again, quit the program and re-start to see if it "sticks". Let me know if it doesn't stick after re-starting the program.
