It's not really an archive, it's a complete database backup. They're all independent of one another, so you can delete any/all of them. I recommend keeping one from various points in time: "recent", "month old", "year old".

They're ZIP files, named like this:
ClipMate*_DB*.ZIP

ex:
ClipMate7_DB_My Clips_2005-07-18_1724.ZIP
ClipMate6_DB_Workgroup_2004-12-31_1724.ZIP

They'll be in your "my documents" folder by default, but you can direct them anywhere, so they could be anywhere. Run a backup, and see where it goes. That's where they all are.
