Has anyone had any conflicts between Act! 2006 and Clipmate?
It seems whenever I copy text within ACT! or in another application, i.e. Outlook I get a pop-up from Act! saying "The requested clipboard operation failed."
I just click OK and continue and everything works OK.
If I exit Clipmate, I do not get these errors.
Also, Clipmate appears to work OK within ACT!
One last bit of info, upon a reboot, it appears to operate OK for the first hour or two. And once this begins, exiting & restarting ACT and/or Clipmate does not fix the problem, if is only fixed (temporary) with a reboot.

Also II, I'm not 100% sure, but I do not believe this occurred with Clipmate 6.

Any thoughts or ideas?

Tom

Try increasging the "capture delay" in Tools | OPtions | Advanced. See if this helps.
Also, try trimming the application profile entry for Act, to take just plain text. See if that helps. Let me know.

OK, Text only in App for ACT8 and 250ms >> 500MS for capture delay.

Exit / restart ACT & Clipmate, - - Looks OK in a quick check, I'll update later today or over the weekend.

Thanks / Tom

Hi Chris,
It behaved for about 30 minutes and now whenever I do a copy, I get the pop-up from ACT.
Any other ideas?

Tom

Let me get this straight:
When you copy from Outlook, Act complains?
If so, does it have a "monitor clipboard" option? If so, can you turn that off?
