is there a way in clipmate to have the option to automatically copy highlighted text the moment its highlighted? (I believe this feature is called "copy on select" and is a mainstay in X-windows).

A program called "txmouse" tried to duplicate this feature in windows, but wondering that since clipmate is already a full featured clipboard manager if that feature couldnt be built into clipmate as an option that the user can select in the 'options>capture' dialog box.

thanks.

of course txmouse comes with other x-windows features which have nothing to do with the clipboard and i'd ignore those.

No, ClipMate isn't going to do this. As you point out, there are already free utilities to do this, they'll work fine with ClipMate, so there's no need for me to add more complexity.
