Thanks for writing.
Just set the database directory to point somewhere that you both have full read/write privleges.
Such as:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\ClipMateData

If you have an existing database that you want to use, then back it up, and make a note of the backup location. Then uninstall/re-install. When it asks where to store the database, pick your new location. Now run a database restore, using the backup file from above.

On the next account, it'll ask where to store the data when you first run it. Pick the same spot.
Now go into Tools | Options | Databases, and edit the database properties so that it doesn't run the database "cleanup and purging", nor the backup. You only want that running on one account.

You're all set.

Note that you CAN have it active on two or more accounts when using "fast user switching". That's ok. It's just like being on a network.

Same thing applies. you need to put the database into a folder where all users have read/write access. Do a simple test with Notepad. On one account, save a file: test.txt. From the second accuont, edit the file to say: "edited by user two". Now go back to the first account and open the file. It should have user two's edits. If you get that far, you should be able to put a ClipMate database in that directory and be ok.
