after loosing data by malsetting the purging rules by accident i thought of something helpfull:

please extend the title of a collection with something in brackets, like:
myCollection(p/a)
means: purging and accepting new clips
myCollection(n/r)
means: never or no deletion and read only.
visversa...

(this is very important for the overflow status, because i want to stay safe
by seeing what its status is.
on the other side, it would help to see immediatly if a specific collection is set to acceptance.
WORKFLOW!)


...or something similar, maybe little icons, maybe bold, italic, underline, color... or any better idea.

just wondering that there is no reply to this item.

i know it's like a little chitchat, cause there IS a least one thing already implemented:
the textcolor of a clip accepting collection is changing to black.
so far so good.
but the "purging mark" ?
a.t.m. i am doing it by changing/marking the collection name by hand (i.e. adding a " * " to it means "purging collection").

as far as i know, we're no longer living in the middle ages.
so let's compute what's to compute.

You can name the collections anything you'd like. This is the best approach for things that are important to only a few users.

at least there should be a notification or a mark
for the OVERFLOW.

if you change the purging rule for the overflow, a lot of clips...
marching to the trashcan. if you aren't smart, they a gone forever after a couple of days.

so, why not a status mark for the overflow and a notification if you change to purge.
