Click To View All, or add your own!I am taking courses in design. I have a lot of hints and tips that come in a Digest form. If I printed articles out right from the Digest they look sloppy, and are hard to follow. I make up a folder in Clipmate with the Topic Name. I edit the information in Clipmate by numbering as I add topics along with the date I received info. When there are enough articles to print I make sure I go into "Config"- "User Preference" - "Printing Options" and then type in the "Heading" that I want. I print all of this information out from Clipmate. My notes and articles are easy to follow, it takes a second to clean up the articles when I have copied them from the Digest. I print up a master index for the articles with the binder number I can find them in. I find that one is only limited by their own imagination when using Clipmate. It is an awseome program which I have used for years now and wouldn't be without it. It keeps me organized. I keep track of the fabric I have. I even use it for a personal diary. Thanks for a great product.

ClipMate on Vista

ClipMate on Vista, with Aero Glass

Not surprisingly, many users are asking us if ClipMate runs on Vista.  Sure it does!  We've been running ClipMate on Vista since the December 2006.  Like they say, "you can't build it, unless you live it!"  ClipMate 7 runs quite well on Vista, and does take advantage of some of the neat new features, particularly the "bulletproof" ClipBoard notification system in Vista, which prevents lost clipboard events.

UPDATE: ClipMate also runs great on Windows7, Windows 8, and 8.1.

Known Issues

  • Installation - FIXED in 7.2 and Later!
  • New to ClipMate? Find out all about it here.

Skins - the skins library is causing trouble (crashes). Don't use the skins on Vista.  The installer for ClipMate 7.2 won't even let you install the skins.  Good news - ClipMate looks great on Vista, without skins.
  • DEP - FIXED In 7.3
  • Clipbar on Vista64 - You cannot run the ClipBar on 64-bit Vista.  (FIXED IN 7.5!!)

Cool Stuff

Sounds too loud or too soft?  Vista lets you control the volume for individual applications. When ZDNet tested this, apparently they like their ClipMate sounds quieted down a bit. See this screenshot in their slideshow, where ClipMate is clearly visible.
